Our client set out to simplify this process by creating a digital solution that would allow farmers to record essential livestock data quickly, access meaningful insights, and maintain reliable records regardless of location. Master of Code Global partnered with the team to design and develop a platform that makes herd management more efficient, accessible, and data-driven. Here's how we brought this idea to life.
The goal was to introduce a system that would make livestock data collection faster and more structured while keeping herd records accurate and readily available. Farmers required a fast way to log animal information directly in the field, maintain complete historical records, and generate meaningful insights from that data. At the same time, the system had to operate offline and seamlessly synchronize records once a connection became available, ensuring uninterrupted herd management regardless of location.

We developed Farm Track Livestock Manager, a mobile and web-based platform that enables farmers to quickly scan or enter tag numbers, record key updates directly in the field, and instantly access insights that support more informed operational decisions.
The application was built to function reliably in real farming environments. Even without Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity, users can continue logging animal information, while the system automatically synchronizes records once a connection becomes available. Combined with secure cloud storage and powerful reporting capabilities, the platform gives livestock managers a centralized and efficient way to monitor herd performance.
Fast animal data logging: Users can quickly scan or enter tag or RFID numbers and add log entries such as weight measurements or health updates within seconds.
Comprehensive animal records: The platform tracks detailed information, including birth date, genetic lineage (dam, sire, and sibling IDs), and complete animal history.
Health and treatment tracking: Farmers can record vaccinations, hormones, illnesses, medications, and withdrawal times to maintain accurate health documentation.
Performance monitoring: The system automatically calculates Average Daily Weight Gain after each entry, providing instant insight into animal development.
