This role is based at Master of Code Global and is dedicated to Zipify, a Shopify product company formed together with Smart Marketer. Zipify builds high-impact Shopify apps that help merchants maximize revenue and conversion. Our flagship product, OneClickUpsell (OCU), has generated over $1.2B in upsell revenue for merchants. We are evolving beyond traditional SaaS into a hybrid model that combines product, AI, and high-value services to deliver measurable growth for ecommerce brands.
We are looking for a Senior Content Writer who will shape the content direction, come up with new topic ideas, and build content briefs. You’ll also write and publish high-quality content across different formats, focusing mostly on SEO- and GEO-optimized blog articles.
We take an AI-first approach to content creation, and we’re looking for someone comfortable working hands-on with Generative AI tools throughout the process — from research, topic discovery, and drafting, to refining tone and voice for brand consistency, and even using AI for SEO analysis and content workflows.
You’ll work closely with the Content Team Lead, SEO specialists, marketing stakeholders, designers, and other content specialists to keep content aligned with broader business goals.
What We Value in a New Master
- 4+ years of proven experience writing in English in roles such as Senior Content Writer, Senior Copywriter, or Content Manager, preferably in tech/outsourcing/IT
- Ability to write texts in various styles and formats, from short-form social and email copy to longer formats like e-books
- At least B2 level of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, processes, and the latest content trends
- Ability to independently identify new topics and content ideas based on trends, SEO opportunities, and business goals
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools for content creation, research, and content workflows — comfortable working with custom prompts, and ideally using AI for SEO analysis
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices, including experience with SEO tech tasks and keyword work
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership of content direction and briefs
- Motivation for professional growth and excellence, with a passion for crafting compelling content, as well as technology and its latest trends
Extra Credit For
- Experience managing or mentoring junior content writers, or coordinating freelance content writers
- Experience with B2B SaaS / B2B e-commerce products aimed at the North American market
- Proficiency in content management systems (WordPress or others)
How You'll Contribute
- Content strategy & briefs: Identify new topic ideas and develop content briefs and structure for SEO and AEO articles
- Content creation: Write high-quality content across formats, including SEO-optimized articles for the Zipify blog, social media content for LinkedIn and Instagram, landing pages, lead magnets (e-books, checklists), and promotional materials
- Team collaboration: Align with the team on content execution; work with the Content Team Lead and marketing stakeholders to keep content aligned with business goals
- Design tasks: Develop technical briefs for visuals to accompany articles and other content types
- Trendwatching: Stay updated on industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and AI use cases
