Purpose of the role
Our company is searching for a motivated and experienced Information Security Officer to guarantee that our business processes follow all relevant information security standards requirements, legal and internal guidelines. Your duties will include reviewing the company information security policies, project delivery details from the information security perspective, other working processes, developing company policies, and responding to policy violations.
The ideal candidate will be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. To prosper in this role, you should be fluent in risk management and our industry’s principles.
Required background and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, law, finance, business management, or a related field
- 2 – 3 years’ proven experience in an information security role
- Good knowledge of the information security principles and standards requirements and procedures
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills
- Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail
- At least Upper-Intermediate English (verbal and written)
Responsibilities
- Manage the company ISMS
- Develop and review company policies and procedures
- Advise management on the company’s compliance with the information security standards, laws and regulations through detailed reports
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
- Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks
- Assess company operations to determine information security risk
- Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes
- Resolve employee concerns about information security compliance
- Preserve the current information security certification (ISO 27001:2013) and prepare company for the future standards compliance (SOC 2, GDPR)
